Bio
My love for photography began when I was a Brownie Girl Scout. I took my parent’s box camera, some black and white film, throw it all in my metal Flintstones lunchbox and hit the streets…a photographer was born! Since then, I have taken thousands of photographs from all different angles – from fine art images to commercial photos and back again. I have learned not only where to stand to get the best shot, but also how to take an ordinary object or scene and make it into an extraordinary study of light, line, form and texture.
I studied photography and journalism at the University of Georgia and have since furthered my craft through workshops and advanced classes. My images have been featured in local, regional and national galleries, museums and juried exhibitions. I currently live in Montgomery, Texas and am a member of the Houston Center for Photography and the Conroe Art League.
